I can’t really remember what we were talking about last night, seemed like a simple innocent conversation though, then it led to him saying this ‘I realized that you tend to see the bad side of people. It’s not very healthy; you’re still young to think like that. You should give people the benefit of the doubt.” Upon hearing that, a streak of anger flashed across me as I thought what that has done for me. I peered through the window and replied “we’ll see…” I think my family’s quite disturbed with how I turned out to be, myself included.
