An unexpected surprise from the unexpected band.

It's amazing how time flies by and how people come and go in your life.
For me, there are some people who have been with me from the very start. They are my 2nd family, the Holland Tigers. I miss our chillout sessions, be it at chip bee, while cycling, or just plain hanging out at Roy's place.
Lunch yesterday felt good. It was worth missing my afternoon nap, just to go out with Abu, Vic and Kiat. Tennis was also good, we haven't laughed so hard for such a long time when Kiat shouted to Roy "DON'T FUCK IT UP!" as he missed the ball coming towards him, or when Roy made fun of Vic installing a dance tone in him whenever his mobile rang.
I don't expect all of us to be around at the same time, but it's good to know that most are us are able to meet up every now and then.
Stories like these, no one else can relate to them unless you were really there. :D
Cheers to friendship!

"It's the best thing that you've ever had; the best thing you've had has gone away..." As Shirlyn continued singing, my thoughts went back to more than a year ago. The rest of the crowd continued singing along to High and Dry as I remembered the times we had.
No it's not a relapse. Sometimes, as much as time heals all wounds, the scar still shows, and every now and then you'll feel a pain. I'm thankful for the experience and I know that we are both better people from the experience.
So what do I do? I smile, clap my hands for the band's fine performance. I, too, thank them for giving me that 15 seconds of self-reflection; an unexpected surprise from the unexpected band.
